Kurt Joseph, Nebraska basketball's strength coach for the past five years, is taking a role with the New Orleans Pelicans. Joseph was instrumental in Nebraska's Sweet 16 run this season, with Husker conditioning one of its strengths.

New research published in Nature Communications (2026) shows coffee actually reshapes the gut-brain axis. Coffee drinkers showed increased levels of beneficial bacteria like Eggerthella, which aids digestion. Decaf coffee was specifically linked to better memory and learning thanks to antioxidants (polyphenols), while regular caffeinated coffee reduced anxiety and improved focus while lowering inflammation.
Both regular and decaf drinkers reported lower stress and better moods. Recent studies from Harvard and the UK Biobank (2025-2026) suggest that 2-3 cups of unsweetened coffee daily could lower the risk of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's by nearly 30%. Read More
🏃 History Made: First Runner Breaks 2-Hour Barrier in Official Race
Sabastian Sawe became the first person ever to break the 2-hour barrier in official race conditions, running 1:59:30 at the London Marathon. Kejelcha Yomif, on his marathon debut, also broke 2 hours with 1:59:41, and Jacob Kiplimo clocked 2:00:28 — all three runners finishing faster than the previous world record.
