💪 LSU S&C Coach Competes in Fitness Contest 6 Months After Amputation

Katie Guillory, assistant strength and conditioning coach for LSU gymnastics and beach volleyball, lost her left foot in a jet ski accident on July 4, 2025. Six months later, she's competing in the Ms. Health and Fitness competition for a shot at $20,000 and the cover of HERS Muscle & Fitness. A former LSU softball captain, Guillory is also training for the 2028 Paralympics in Los Angeles — and if she wins, she'd be the first amputee in the competition's history. Read More

New Missouri State head coach Casey Woods hired Maurice Sims to lead the Bears' sports performance efforts — and Sims has serious résumé depth. He spent two seasons at Georgia, helping the Bulldogs go 22-3 and win the 2021 national championship. He also followed Coach Prime to Colorado and previously served as director of S&C at Jackson State. 🦬 Bills Retain Full S&C Staff Despite Injury-Plagued Season

Despite heavy criticism over a 2025 injury crisis, the Buffalo Bills are keeping their entire performance staff in place under new head coach Joe Brady. President of football operations Brandon Beane confirmed that S&C coach Will Greenberg, head athletic trainer Nate Breske, and director of performance Joe Collins will all stay on. Joe Connolly, head coach of football sports performance at Arizona State, has been nominated for the NSCA Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award.
