Ole Miss has hired Paul Constantine as its new football strength and conditioning coach. Constantine arrives from the Atlanta Falcons, where he served as associate director of strength and conditioning, and brings prior experience at Alabama, Indiana, Baylor, and Houston Baptist as Pete Golding continues to finalize his Rebels staff. A former Blazers offensive lineman, Novick returns to Birmingham after serving as Director of Strength & Conditioning at ULM, continuing a full-circle path that started as a UAB intern and includes stops at LIU and back with the Blazers’ performance staff. We read it so you don’t have to. Layne Norton and Paul Saladino have been circling each other on the seed oil debate for months, but things boiled over yesterday when a planned debate fell apart. Norton said Saladino backed out after references were shared; Saladino fired back, saying the issue was an unbalanced setup and conflicts of interest. Boise State announced internal promotions within its sports performance department, elevating Marques White to associate director of sports performance and expanding Collin McKelvey’s role to include director of sports science. White will serve as the lead assistant overseeing day-to-day performance programming, while McKelvey will lead athlete data collection and analysis to support performance and development across the program.
